Industrial Services Business Development Manager

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Circular Services Business Development Manager for our client based in Essex on a permanent basis. This is a remote based position with a requirement to attend the office in Braintree or Blackfriars once monthly.
Working with a team of sales specialists you will be responsible for supporting them on bids and opportunities that come from parent company customer base.
Vendor/partner relationships - establishing and building relationships with existing vendor partners for them to utilise both service and remarketing capabilities.
Major inbound opportunities - managing inbound major opportunities by ensuring the optimal propositions & commercial models are presented and delivered to conclusion.
Lead and coordinate the bid process, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions.
* Requirements Analysis: Work closely with clients to understand their ITAD needs and translate requirements into effective bid responses.
* Proposal Development: Prepare compelling and well-structured bid documents, including technical and commercial proposals, demonstrating a deep understanding of ITAD services.
* Compliance: Ensure bid submissions adhere to regulatory and compliance standards, demonstrating the company's commitment to ethical business practices.
* Client Relationship Management: ITAD Industry: In-depth understanding of IT Asset Disposition industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
* Bid Management: Proven knowledge and experience in bid management processes, including the ability to analyze client requirements and translate them into comprehensive bid responses.
* IT Services: Familiarity with a broad range of IT services, including asset disposal, data sanitization, and secure recycling.
* Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards governing IT asset disposition, ensuring bid submissions align with legal and ethical standards.
* Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical and commercial concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
* Project Management: Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple bids concurrently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
* Strong analytical skills to interpret technical requirements and pricing strategies, contributing to the development of competitive bids.
* Client Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and incorporating feedback into bid proposals.
* Bid Management Experience: Proven experience in bid management roles within the IT or technology industry, with a successful track record of securing new business through competitive bids.
* Industry Networking: Demonstrated experience in networking within the ITAD or related industry, staying informed about market trends and potential business opportunities.
Working hours are Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 with regular travel to company and customer locations.
