This full-time, permanent position offers the unique chance to work at one of the city’s most iconic destinations, contributing to the safe operation and maintenance of this world-class facility. Role Overview: As a Technician, you’ll join a multi-skilled team responsible for ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of various systems and equipment within the attraction. Your work will involve conducting routine electrical and mechanical inspections, diagnosing and resolving breakdowns, and ensuring minimal downtime to maintain an exceptional guest experience. You’ll be working on a rotating roster of 12-hour shifts (days and nights), which includes weekends and bank holidays. Flexibility is a must, as the attraction operates all year round. Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing both routine and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Conducting daily inspections and overseeing operational procedures.
  • Supervising equipment and systems during live operations.
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
  • Maintaining a wide range of systems, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and HVAC.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • An ONC or HNC in Engineering, ideally with an electrical bias.
  • Previous experience in an industrial engineering environment.
  • Knowledge of technical areas such as PLCs, HVAC, and Hydraulics.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety, risk assessments, electrical drawings, and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) systems.
  • Self-motivated, with a keen eye for detail and high personal standards.
