About the Role We are seeking a Media Server Video Engineer to join our growing team of multidisciplinary experts. You'll be responsible for designing, specifying, and implementing advanced video, projection, LED, and media server systems across a diverse range of cutting-edge projects. We are open to meeting talented engineers at all stages of their careers, from emerging professionals to highly experienced specialists. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver technically robust video and media server systems for live, broadcast, and virtual production environments. Produce and review detailed 3D technical drawings and documentation using 3D modelling and CAD software such as AutoCAD and Vectorworks. Simulate and specify projection, LED, and AV solutions to achieve precise technical and creative outcomes. Build and optimise content pipelines, ensuring efficient creative workflows that integrate seamlessly with media server setups. Configure, test, and deploy media server racks and supporting infrastructure. Work with media servers including Disguise and preferably Pixera, Hive, or similar systems. Integrate real-time graphics solutions using Notch, Unreal Engine, TouchDesigner, or similar technologies — particularly in conjunction with media servers and tracking systems. Support system engineering and testing at our VP Studio, MARS Volume. Collaborate closely with the wider Bild team, suppliers, and clients to deliver exceptional technical and creative results. Participate in on-site installations, tests, and show delivery — both in the UK and internationally. About You Proven experience in video system design, projection, LED, and media server workflows. Strong understanding of 3D environments for setup, alignment, and system planning (not content creation). Strong knowledge in AutoCAD and/or Vectorworks or similar CAD applications.. Strong knowledge of Disguise media servers; familiarity with Pixera, Hive, or similar systems is a plus. Experience integrating real-time engines (Notch, Unreal Engine, TouchDesigner) and tracking technologies. A confident communicator — in person, verbally, and in writing — with a client-facing, solution-oriented mindset. Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative-technical environment. Willing and able to travel for projects as required.
