Position Overview:

ESG Flo is seeking an exceptional Chief of Staff to oversee and drive excellence across people’s operations, financial management, and partnership strategy. This versatile and results-oriented leader will work closely with the CEO and CTO to execute the company’s strategic vision, ensuring all operational functions align with our ambitious goals. This role is pivotal in managing core business operations, fostering a high-performing team, and driving process improvements to support our rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1- Strategic Leadership:

  • Collaborate with the CEO and CTO to develop and implement the company’s strategic plan.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and operational partner to executive leadership, ensuring alignment across departments.

2- People & Hiring Operations:

  • Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes, ensuring we attract and retain top talent.
  • Lead HR initiatives to foster a strong company culture and support employee engagement and development.
  • Implement efficient people operations processes and policies to support scalability.

3- Fundraising Operations:

  • Manage fundraising activities, including preparation of investor materials, tracking milestones, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Oversee due diligence processes and ensure timely delivery of accurate data to investors and partners.

4- Financial Operations:

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Manage company resources effectively, aligning spending with business priorities and strategic objectives.
  • Track financial performance against key metrics and prepare reports for executive and board-level discussions.

5- Operational Excellence:

  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and boost efficiency.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success across all departments and ensure data-driven decision-making.

6- Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a talented team of three, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Promote professional growth and team development through clear communication, feedback, and support.

7- Partnerships and Collaboration:

  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships to drive business growth and expand market presence.
  • Represent the company in meetings with external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in operations, strategy, or a similar leadership role, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience in overseeing HR, financial, and operational functions.
  • Strong understanding of fundraising processes and financial management.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor.
  • Analytical and results-driven, with a track record of process improvement and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
