Our client is an already successful Contractor delivering projects across the UK now seeking an additional Estimator. With over 50+ years of experience in the construction field, their team are highly skilled in all building disciplines and have an excellent reputation for executing high quality projects on time, defect free and safely.

As an Estimator, you will work both individually and as part of a team, taking a tender from initial enquiry to final submittal. You will apply a high level of consideration and care to provide a professional standard of work.

Key Roofing Estimator Responsibilities / Tasks not limited to:

  • Preparing tenders, estimates and cost plans all while meeting the clients timeframes
  • Understanding architect drawings/specifications
  • Preparation of costs sheets, including quantity take-offs, and the completion of project BOQ
  • Final submission of the project estimate and supporting documentation
  • Develop relationships with suppliers in order to assist with cost requirements.
  • Identifying value engineering opportunities in order to keep quotes competitive.
  • Communicating with clients on tender status.
  • The responsibility of presenting project handover meetings.
  • Maintain accurate information regarding suppliers, sub-contractors & clients.

To be considered for this Roofing Estimator role you will require:

  • At least 3 years relevant experience in the construction industry
  • Excellent level of attention to details and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and provide a high standard of work while doing so.
