As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be an integral part of the Multi disciplinary team treating neurological conditions in an inpatient and out patient setting at their Birmingham hospital. The succesful appplicant will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage a clinical caseload, providing top-quality occupational therapy assessment and treatment to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Stay updated on occupational therapy developments by attending relevant courses and maintaining a current personal portfolio.
  • Participate in hospital cover/on-call rotas, including week nights and weekend shifts as needed.
  • Ensure quality services for internal and external stakeholders through continuous improvement activities.

Requirements or Skills:

  • State Registered Occupational Therapist
  • Member of the College of Occupational Therapy (COT)
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Knowledge of COT and HCPC Codes and guidelines, Care Standards Act, and Care Quality Commission Requirements
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, including risk management
  • Proficient in using a PC, including software and systems
