Chef £12.60 per hour, Monday to Friday , 37.5 hours per week, 28 days leave, North Leeds, temporary role We are currently looking for an experienced chef to join this catering organisation in their North Leeds kitchen on a temporary basis. You will be working as part of a larger kitchen team to deliver outstanding catering services for a prestigious private school: Cooking meals using fresh seasonal ingredients Preparing food in a timely manner Supervision of kitchen assistants when required Maintaining the highest standards of food safety at all times Working Monday to Friday We would expect the successful candidate to have experience working in a professional kitchen and a passion for high quality fresh food. You should be able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team, along with a good understanding of food hygiene and health and safety legislation. This would be an ideal role if you have worked as a chef or cook in a hospitality setting. The school catering team are friendly and passionate, and have forged good relationships with the wider school team. This team is one part of a large catering organisation with a focus on high quality fresh food. There is the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate and this is a company that focus on tailored training and internal progression.
