We're Hiring a Project Manager
We're on the hunt for an enthusiastic and motivated Project Manager to join Scottish Water Horizons. You will be working on a variety of projects such as building water systems for new housing, helping Hydrogen developers find water in Scotland, and solving water scarcity issues.
As part of our team, you'll report to the Senior Project Manager and play a crucial role in delivering projects safely, on time, and to the highest standard. Collaborating closely with Scottish Water Delivery Partners, you'll oversee key project milestones, providing detailed monthly updates to keep everyone in the loop. Your contribution will not only enhance Scottish Water's reputation but also strengthen relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and customers. With your ability to manage tasks efficiently, you'll ensure deadlines are consistently met, adapting to the needs of our project portfolio and the Senior Project Manager.
You will be able to demonstrate the successful management and delivery of projects. Water industry experience is a plus, but not a requirement. Ideally, you will be familiar with statutory Construction Health, Safety and Environment regulations (including CDM) and have an understanding of the application of Engineering Forms of contract (including NEC4). However, we will be providing training and development in these areas. A general understanding of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and email correspondence systems would be beneficial. You will need to be a strong communicator who can work with stakeholders to successfully plan and hit performance milestones. You’ll sometimes be out visiting project sites. These tend to be in remote areas, so it’s important that you have a full UK-issued driving license.

If you’re new to Scottish Water, you’ll join us on a starting salary of £41,000. Performance-driven pay progression would then allow you to move through the range to a maximum of £51,970.
