We are recruiting for a Compliance and Health and Safety Manager to join a leading plastics manufacturer based near Liverpool. This Compliance, H&S Manager role is a permanent position working Monday to Thursday 8.30pm offering a salary of £(phone number removed) per annum dependent on experience plus excellent benefits as below.


As Compliance and H&S Manager you will maintain Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures to support the business inline with HSE legislation and best practice. Develop and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with statutory health, safety, and welfare obligations.
Communicate health and safety information effectively across the organisation.
Produce risk assessments, method statements, and construction phase health and safety plans.
Conduct site audits and ensure implementation of action plans.
Organise and manage health, safety, and environmental training.
Manage fire alarm testing and drills.
Previous experience of working in a Health and Safety Manager within a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Health & safety to IOSH/ NEBOSH level ideally
Risk assessment good understanding of the technical skills required of operatives working in a Manufacturing Environment.
Strong IT skills (Intermediate/Advanced Excel knowledge) - demonstrating the ability to extract data and use it.
Good Commercial awareness and understanding of the impact of costs.
Knowledge of 'Systems Thinking' principles and their implementation
Ability to write and communicate comprehensive health and safety reports.
