A new exciting opportunity has arisen within the Medicine Care Group at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust to work as a Coordinator supporting the Suspected Inflicted Head Injury Service (SIHIS) and wider safeguarding team as part of an transformative new pilot.
You will liaise closely with the clinical teams and management teams to ensure MDTs are coordinated, well documented and ensure all actions are followed up.
You will be a compassionate, accountable individual who treats all colleagues, patients and service users with respect and seeks to deliver excellence in their role. You will share the Trust values and be committed to equality, diversity and inclusion.

Sheffield Children's is one of three independent, specialist paediatric hospitals in the country, providing dedicated healthcare for children and young people across community, mental health and acute specialist settings.

Qualifications and Training
Knowledge of a range of IT areas, formal training or experience to diploma level or equivalent.
Working knowledge of hospital systems (e.g. Ability to use information to effectively support the improvement of performance and service delivery
Experience of managing information, sharing and analysing data
Knowledge of medical terminology
Knowledge of clinical coding.
Knowledge of and experience of working with waiting list policies, outpatient and inpatient waiting time targets
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to use Excel spreadsheets and pivot tables
Awareness of current NHS climate and direction of travel
Ability to ask for help and guidance
Able to travel to other hospital sites on occasion
