Night Shift Manager Nights - Monday to Thursday 6-6
An Area Manager Night Shift manager role for candidates with FMCG or food industry production background.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 6pm to 6 am

If you find that night shift works for your lifestyle, the pattern of this shift will be an attraction as it allows for three days off over the weekend. As in all fast-paced manufacturing, there is a need to keep driving forward with CI initiatives working closely with the teams, being hands-on on the shop floor motivating and engaging the shift. There is some great experience in the Senior Leadership team who can coach and mentor, offering opportunities for personal development. This is ideal for those motivated by seeing the difference their input can make and will definitely highlight your potential within the business for the future as this is a key shift for the site.

Due to the nature of the factory you need to be agile, versatile and able to prioritise effectively leading your shift daily, working to high standards and taking pride in our teams achievements.

Effective management and motivation of the team on your shift.
Collate and interpret the relevant data for fact-based decision making.
Ensuring the effective safe and productive running of the shift.

KPI's are your daily language. You communicate and display them clearly and educate the shift, so they know not just what needs doing but why and the impact of their activity.
You understand the food industry or FMCG for the pace and ability to think at speed.
Taking pride in the shift, striving to have the top performing shift.
Conducts effective handovers and embeds processes and procedures that mean shifts work together to achieve results. Don't be put off if you don't have all the above, if you know you have energy and have some supervisory experience there is the opportunity for career development in these roles.
