Wise Employment is seeking a Night Shift Production Leader for a reputable food manufacturing organization.
This position is a permanent role with a salary of up to £42k, working nights from Friday to Sunday, 18:00 to 06:00. The role comes with an attractive bonus package, including:

This role is vital as a Night Shift Production Leader, where you will oversee daily operations and longer-term objectives within the department, ensuring that production targets are met.
Your responsibilities as a Night Shift Production Leader will include:
- Motivating and engaging staff within your department or production line, including conducting training, appraisals, and coaching as necessary.
- Planning, structuring, and organizing work to set objectives, develop logical plans, prioritize critical tasks, and monitor progress.
- Conducting all Health & Safety checks.
- Meeting KPIs related to production efficiency, personnel, quality, and profitability through a continuous improvement strategy and adherence to the manufacturing pillar plan.
- Assessing performance levels against targets daily and addressing any discrepancies between planned and actual performance.
- Coordinating both permanent and temporary labor during shifts.
- Implementing Allergen controls effectively.
Required Experience:
To excel in this Night Shift Production Leader role, candidates should possess supervisory or management experience in a food manufacturing setting, demonstrating hands-on capability in running the department.
A strong commercial awareness and commitment to delivering quality customer service are essential. A Level 3 or higher in Food Safety is preferred, along with a Level 2 and IOSH or higher in Health & Safety. A solid understanding of HACCP is necessary, as well as a resilient and credible leadership style that fosters coaching, inspiration, and team development.
