We have a exciting opportunity for a experienced Head of Data & Integration Platforms to take on this new position.

The Head of Data & Integrations Platforms is accountable for the overall Data and Integration strategy and roadmap, orchestrating the build out of strategic technology capabilities that deliver significant value to the Business. They are a senior IS Leader and the principal advisor to both the Business and VP of IS on the organisation’s approach to Data and Integrations.

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversees the development of robust Data and Integration strategies, bringing together the Business and relevant IS leaders to align on a shared Data and Integration vision and the enabling technology capabilities that need to be built.
  • Steers the development and execution of a Data governance model, partnering with the Business and other IS teams to establish effective data management processes and decisions.
  • Ultimately accountable for the delivery of Data and Integration Platform roadmaps and realisation of related enterprise value (from an IS perspective).
  • Acts as a senior advisor to the Business C-suite and IS Leadership on data and integration-related topics.
  • Provides executive steer on engagement with vendors, third-party suppliers, and other contracted resources across the wider Data & Integration organisation.
  • Ensures the effective management of Data and Integration Platform talent, including maintaining a clear structure to attract, develop, and retain the best talent in this area.

Experience required:

  • Demonstrable experience of establishing Data and Integration strategies, setting clear objectives and roadmaps for developing new and enhanced technology capabilities.
  • Proven track record of overseeing the successful build out of Data and Integration technologies, tools, and services (e.g., MuleSoft, CPI, Apigee, Postman, Azure, SAP BW, PowerBI, Snowflake, Data Bricks).
  • Adept at conveying complex technology architectures and practices to C-Suite level Business executives.
  • Deep experience of establishing strategic partnerships with third-party suppliers to deliver commodity Data and Integration services.
  • Proven experience in establishing robust data management and integration management processes and practices; aligning the Business and IS leadership on shared governance models.
  • Proven track record of fostering collaborative and high performing IS organisations.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring senior IS colleagues, fostering the next generation of leadership.
  • Good understanding of Data and Integration trends and how they can be best leveraged to deliver tangible Business value.
  • Comprehensive experience in incubating and scaling Data and Integration capabilities across a diverse technology estate.
