Location: Polaris House, Swindon (Very flexible hybrid working options available with occasional travel to the office)

The Senior International Funds Manager will play a leading role in the delivery and implementation of UKRIs International Funds, reporting to the Head of International Funds Delivery. You will have a central role in shaping international funds across UKRI, networking with stakeholders, developing policy and strategy and managing UKRI funds development, coordinating and supporting UKRIs constituent councils to achieve their international ambitions.
Lead on the development of Fund specific policies, practices and communications, to ensure coherent delivery across UKRI Councils, and consistent experience for external stakeholders, in line with Reforming our Business principles and DSITHMG requirements
Oversight of international funds distributed to Councils, including project portfolio information (with Analysis and Evidence Team) and finance monitoring and reporting (with International Operations)
Responsible for the planning, development, commissioning, delivery and post-award management of specific International initiatives and portfolios. Leading and driving project progress, underpinned by sound project management skills, including the ability to work flexibly and to plan, manage and deliver a portfolio of projects and activities with different timescales, priorities, and delivery mechanisms, working individually and in teams.
Experience with the development and delivery of research and innovation programmes, including development of programme strategies, commissioning processes including peer review, grants policy and administration.
