Lead Game Analyst

Are you an experienced, hands-on Product Analysis Lead with experience leading and mentoring other analysts who is looking for an opportunity to influence the direction of one of the world’s most popular MMORPGs?
As the Lead Analyst on Old School RuneScape, you will deliver insights, learning & guidance to the team and will have significant impact on the direction of our game and our studio.
Leading a small team of product analysts, you will guide decisions on product and feature roadmaps to help inform and improve player experience.
This role will work closely with the Data Science and Engineering (ADSE) department. ADSE is the heart of player, product, and business insights on our games. Drive deep, impactful learnings by working across data, game design and research to deliver a story-driven direction based on data.
Develop best practice and ways of working that support the game team to deliver engaging content.
Lead and manage a small team of Product Analysts to help support their growth and development, as well as their results as a team.
Present and communicate analysis conclusions to business stakeholders in a clear and practical way.
Design and maintain telemetry events for current and future content updates.
Create and foster effective relationships across the studio to promote a data-driven partnership.
Partner with data engineering to manage data requirements such as schema requirements and data format to support high-quality deliverables.
Conduct effective analysis while adhering version control, documentation, and reproduction.
Develop a strong and continuously improving understanding of the game mechanics and telemetry.
Previous experience leading analysts while also delivering high quality insights and being a hands-on analyst yourself.
Effective communicator and data storyteller with demonstrable examples of cross-functional communication and presentation.
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or equivalent experience
High proficiency with SQL.
Familiarity with modern data architectures (AWS, Snowflake, OLAP)
Experience using modern data visualization tools e.g Tableau, PowerBI etc.
