Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Controller, Fully Remote, £400/day (Inside IR35)
A great client of mine in the digital consultancy space is currently looking to bring on a Financial Planning & Analysis Controller on an initial 3 month contract.

Job Description
As Senior Associate, you will work as part of our client's International financial reporting team with a focus on the DACH market. Our team coordinates forecast and all reporting functions across all business units. This includes weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance. The Senior Associate will help with timely variance analysis, KPI/metric reporting, and special projects as needed. The position will work with various financial and business leaders across the organization with high visibility.
A successful Senior Associate candidate will have the ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to changing business requirements in a fast-paced work environment, an inquisitive and curious nature, and a commitment to delivering financial solutions that balance business needs with regional and corporate obligations.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual financial analysis (Budget, Forecast, and Actuals)
- Reach out to the Controllership teams in monthly and quarterly closes to support in providing significant variances to budget/forecast and explain the "reason why".
- Consolidate financial reports from business units (Matrix Organisation) by rolling up inputs and reaching out for commentary to several stakeholders.
- Collaborate and support various processes
- Ensure efficiency and consistency of planning across divisions.
- Proactively consider improvements to existing processes and how new decisions will impact existing processes. Have a "can do" attitude.
- Prepare and run business plans (annual budget, rolling forecasts, project calculations).
- Support and assist in information gathering including KPI and other metrics
- Ensure the business is running smoothly and efficiently in terms of financial processes and operations.
- Ensure accurate submission of all reports in compliance with Groupe's deadlines.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis, projects, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience within FP&A or Financial/Management Reporting.
- Groupe/Industry experience preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel; Oracle & PowerBI is an advantage.
- Committed, detail-oriented, self-starter with strong problem-solving and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/initiatives on tight schedules and timelines.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical, solution-oriented thinking.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent English language skills.
- German language skills are considered a plus.
