About Us: We are a small, well-managed primary school located in North Chesterfield. Committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our students, we are currently seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team.
Role Overview: As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) classroom. The successful candidate will hold a relevant EYFS qualification at least at level 2 for ratios and will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to a child with additional needs, as well as assisting in the general classroom environment.
Provide one-to-one support to a child with additional needs, assisting them in their learning and development.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
Relevant EYFS qualification at least at level 2 for ratios.
Previous experience working with young children, preferably within an educational setting.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
Opportunities for professional development and career progression.
Permanent position with the opportunity to become part of the school's contract staff.
