Role Summary:

We're on the hunt for a dynamic Senior Operations Manager, who will report directly to the Head of Expansion and play a crucial role in propelling the operational excellence, metrics, revenue growth, and project management initiatives at Lean Kitchen Network. This leadership position is designed for a strategic thinker with a knack for practical execution, ready to manage the intricate dance of day-to-day operations while pushing the boundaries of efficiency and growth in our operational and project management practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with our mission, emphasising efficiency, sustainability, revenue growth, and project management excellence.
  • Direct the execution of daily operations across multiple facets of the business including team management, account management, central operations, and supply chain, ensuring the achievement of key performance metrics.
  • Lead project management initiatives, overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects that drive innovation and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Expansion to support strategic objectives and ensure that project management practices are seamlessly integrated into expansion efforts.
  • Drive the innovation of brand concepts in collaboration with culinary and marketing teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet market demands.
  • Forge and nurture strategic relationships with kitchen operators, suppliers, and other key stakeholders to optimise the supply chain and project execution.
  • Optimise operational and project management processes for enhanced profitability, efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Motivate and lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and project management excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Strong track record in driving metrics, revenue growth, and managing complex projects, demonstrating a high level of competence in operational leadership and project management.
  • Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a proven capability to oversee and deliver successful projects.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, evidenced by a history of motivating teams to achieve high performance and meet ambitious project goals.
  • Solid experience in supply chain management, account management, and brand development, with a keen understanding of how these areas contribute to operational efficiency and project success.
  • Superior communication skills, coupled with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; Master’s degree and/or professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) highly beneficial.
  • A genuine passion for sustainability and innovation within the food industry, with a readiness to apply project management expertise to drive change.
  • Experience in the food service, hospitality, or similar industries is preferred but not mandatory. The ability to apply operational and project management skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment is the most critical factor.
