Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: West Byfleet, Surrey

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team based in West Byfleet, Surrey. As a leading Building Services M&E Design & Build Contractor, we specialize in delivering projects across various sectors, including commercial, critical facilities, retail, high-end residential, and public sectors. Our comprehensive services cover mechanical, electrical, public health, and sustainable energy facilities, from feasibility proposals through design, contract, installation, and handover.

Responsibilities:

* Undertake surveying, design, estimating, and project management activities.

* Provide end-to-end project ownership, from inception to handover, ensuring successful delivery.

* Offer post-contract client support as needed.

* Interact effectively with clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors.

* Provide technically sound design solutions, adhering to relevant legislation, including CDM.

* Utilize design software proficiently.

* Collaborate with minimal supervision and support fellow team members.

* Demonstrate expertise in managing projects with values ranging from £10K to £1.5 million.

* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

* ONC/HNC qualification in building services.

* Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience.

* Proven experience in surveying, design, estimating, and project management.

* Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including CDM.

* Experience with project values ranging from £10K to £1.5 million.

* Proficiency in design software.

* Clean driving license.

* Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

* Excellent project management skills.

Package:

* Salary: £70K to £100K plus package

* Package includes car allowance.

* Private health care.

* Contributory pension.
