The Opportunity....

At Forseven we are embracing circular economy principles to reduce environmental impact and protect people and planet. This role will spearhead our efforts to integrate circular economy practices in our business.

What you'll do....

  • Develop and lead the implementation of a comprehensive circular economy strategy aligned with company goals and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate circular economy principles into product design, manufacturing processes, and supply chain management.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for measuring and improving circular economy outcomes.

Analysis & Assessment:

  • Conduct thorough research and assessments to identify circular economy impacts at each stage of the product life.
  • Collaborate closely with Forseven's LCA Lead to holistically assess across the circular economy, carefully managing trade-offs and providing recommendations.
  • Engage with suppliers to promote sustainable sourcing practices, waste reduction, and circular material flows.
  • Implement circular economy criteria in supplier assessments and contract negotiations.

Innovation and Research:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in circular economy and sustainable business practices. Identify and promote innovative solutions for circular product design, remanufacturing, and recycling within the automotive sector.

  • A demonstrable understanding of the concepts of circular economy, with the ability to trade off against other impact factors and draw recommendations.
  • A record of demonstrating value to stakeholders and the ability to win 'the hearts and minds' of key internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proven collaborator with internal and external teams.
  • Both a strategist and doer, can strike the balance between the two.
  • Entrepreneurial and independent mindset, capable of proposing solutions to complex issues.
  • Ability/experience in working on multiple priorities in parallel to meet varying deadlines
  • A great team player.
  • Highly organised, strong time management skills and excellent attention to detail.
