Refurbishment Project Director

SE London

15 months fixed term contract

£78,000 + bonus

Resourcing Group have an exciting opportunity to work Client Side in a healthcare establishment and take on this amazing project to oversee & lead the delivery of the ward refurbishment from start to finish

The main responsibilities for this role include:

The overall project management of the programme ensuring the refurbishment is completed in a timely and efficient manner, and to budget

The tendering, selection and management of key suppliers

Liaising with project teams and clinical colleagues to minimise disruption to ongoing care

Reporting progress to key stakeholders such as the Board of Trustees and the Executive Team.

The essential requirements for this role are;

BSc/BA in engineering, building science or relevant field, or equivalent experience

Proven experience as construction project Lead of equivalent sized projects, and delivering them to time and to budget

Experience of carrying out detailed specifications of work, issuing tenders, and selecting suppliers

Experience of reporting project status of equivalent sized building projects to senior stakeholders

Empathetic, and patient focused

The ideal candidate will have experience of similar sized building projects in a hospice or health environment.
