Our client has secured Venatu Recruitment to work on a retained basis for the vacancy of Sales Manager.
They are looking to add to the sales team by hiring a sales manager. The role will have the responsibility of working with 6 Sales Representatives, 2 Account Manager and 2 Lead Generators.
The business has a turnover of 11 million and you will be responsible for the budget for the company. The role will be managing the representative that work in the field as well as supporting internal activities.
Duties will include but not be limited to
- Developing and implementing strategic sales plans that expand a company s customer base and solidify its presence.
- Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing sales teams and by assessing the team s strengths and weaknesses
- Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Building and promoting healthy, long-lasting customer relations by partnering with them
- Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes to capture key demographics.
- Training and mentoring new and existing hires, setting realistic targets and KPI s.
- Supporting the Directors with customer knowledge, business plans and reports when required.
What we require
- Previous Sales management experience
- Proven record of achievement
- Ability to empower a sales team and drive activity.
- Previous face to face meetings and confidence in building a successful sale team.
- Previous experience working to Service Level Agreements and understanding the delivery of services.
- Must have an enthusiastic approach to delivery business requirements.
- Able to drive and willing to travel in the UK.
