Our client is a manufacturer of thermoformed plastic packaging for use in the Fresh Produce and Food Service divisions. You will have a sound understanding of engineering fundamentals both electrical and mechanical and be responsible for developing and implementing long-term solutions by application of thorough root cause analysis Responsibilities:

  • Work on electrical installations up to 400V, process safety circuits, and electrical control circuits (PLC & VSD), following relevant health and safety standards
  • Undertake planned maintenance tasks autonomously to maximise machinery up time and minimise disruption to production targets.
  • Assist the Engineering Manager with creating and reviewing risk assessments, SOPs, OPLs, and Preventative Maintenance Schedules
Qualifications
  • Formal Qualification in Engineering, NVQ level 3+ with significant experience in Electrical and Mechanical
  • 18th Edition wiring editions
  • PLC Control systems
  • Knowledge of CAD
