Runwood Homes is one of the UK’s largest residential elderly care providers recently placed in the top 20 care home groups in the uk. Rose House Care Home is a 61-bed, high quality, residential care and dementia care home opening in Armthorpe, Doncaster in Spring 2024, we currently have an exciting opportunity to head up the commissioning of the home as our Commissioning Home Manager.

The care home manager job role:
  • Manage the day to day running of the home.
  • Provide staff management, support, and development.
  • Ensure each resident receives the highest standard of care.
  • To liaise with and co-operate with CQC inspectors and with their inspections.
  • To promote a caring environment for residents through high standards of professional practice.

Person specification of the care home manager:

  • Organised and able to manage others

You will ne NVQ Level 5 or working towards, a background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia. You will also have a background in leading a team to deliver care. What is essential is a brilliant, positive energy and natural ability to get along with others. You will know what good record keeping looks like and be able to manage your time effectively. Furthermore, whenever you communicate with others, whether it be a resident or co-worker, you will be truly considerate and kind.

Experience / Qualification:

  • NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care.
  • Previous Experience of managing a staff team
  • Safeguarding Adults
  • Comprehensive induction and ongoing paid training to develop your career
  • Quality training to enhance your skills
  • Access to regular covid-19 testing
  • Quality PPE provided
  • High IPC and sanitisation standards
  • Free uniform
  • 33 days annual leave
