SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Northfield, Birmingham Daily Rate: £85 - £100 Start Date: ASAP Contract: Temporary to Permanent Type: Full Time (Term Time Only) About the Role: LTF Recruitment is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with SEN in Years 3 and 5. This classroom-based role involves assisting a small group of students with ASD and supporting the class overall. This position is long-term with the potential for permanency for the right candidate. Roles and Responsibilities: Support children with SEN on a one-to-one basis and in small groups. Assist teaching and learning across Key Stage Two. Run intervention sessions for children. Ensure a caring and safe environment for all pupils to reach their full potential.Personal Specifications: Experience supporting pupils with SEN (ASD). Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 12 months' experience as a TA. Experience working one-to-one and in small groups, including running intervention sessions. Knowledge of the UK primary curriculum. Calm, patient, and caring persona. Strong communication skills. Understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines.The School: Friendly, welcoming, and inclusive Two Form Entry Primary Academy. Part of a Multi-Academy Trust.
