Job Description Prototype Mechanical and Electrical Technician

• Wellesbourne Onsite Fulltime
• Contract type: 3 Months Rolling Contract
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday: 6am – 2pm & 2pm – 1am (rotating weekly)

Formel D is the global service provider for the industry. We develop market-leading concepts, as well as individual and scalable solutions throughout the entire value chain of the production process, from the design phase, industrialization, production and after-sales. The company was founded in 1993 and is headquartered in Cologne (Germany).

We are looking for experienced Prototype Mechanical and Electrical Technicians to work with one of our prestigious vehicle manufacturers. Conducting mechanical and electrical fault finding down to component level
• Working on Sub assembly (Cells)
• Working and following the design electrical drawings/schematics
• Conducting reworking, testing and repairing tasks on the vehicle
• Qualified Mechanical and or Electrical Engineering in Level 3
• PHEV qualified (IMI level 1or 2 minimum)
• Experience within the Automotive Vehicle Manufacturing Industry
• Previous proven working experience with EV and PHEV Vehicles at Prototype
• Proven previous experience as mechanical/electrical technician
• Working according to the company quality and housekeeping standards
• Must have a mechanical/coach toolkit
• Clean UK/ or equivalent Driving Licence
