Here within Anglian Water, we collaborate with a number of alliance partners to provide the best water and water recycling services across the region by maintaining our existing assets and undertaking new projects to safeguard future water supplies.
Playing a key part in our drive to bring environmental and social prosperity to the region we serve through our commitment to Love Every Drop is our Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS) Alliance. Comprising of Anglian Water, Morrison Utility Services, Barhale, and Kier, the IOS Alliance work together to concentrate on solutions across the water recycling and clean water asset base, typically totaling £50-60m per year.
The IOS alliance works across multiple disciplines including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation. Incorporating new construction, replacement, or repair. Spanning the entirety of Anglian Water's asset base.
What you will be doing as our Project Engineer?
Receiving planned and reactive project needs from Anglian Water, you’ll look to drive the development of solutions with a focus on the whole life cost and business risk reduction of the solution whilst ensuring they are compliant with all required standards and regulations.
Support the Operational/Project Delivery Manager in the delivery of Anglian Water project needs
# Assess solutions, complete root cause analysis with consideration to whole life cost and business risk reduction using the Risk, Opportunity, and Value process
# Develop solutions in line with corporate governance processes, technical/safety standards, and legal requirements
# Complete and comply with all operational site Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality requirements to ensure safe working practices
# Support the capture of assets and cost in the relevant corporate systems

Preferable APM Project Management (PMQ) or PRINCE2
Preferable NEBOSH or NEBOSH Construction
Temporary Works Coordinator
Engineering degree or equivalent
Experience in capital delivery within the water sector with a key focus on directly employed staff delivering projects
Be an excellent communicator at all levels to be able to interpret, problem solve and share data at all levels
Commercial awareness working with multiple stakeholders
