Facilities Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Facilities Manager to manage day-day building operations over our three sites to ensure the museum buildings look and feel outstanding. The role is varied, but its key focus is managing maintenance operations from building fabric to services, through a network of contractors.
We are seeking someone who is experienced in managing buildings and maintenance operations, including minor works/projects and building related health and safety, from compliance monitoring to emergency evacuation procedures and fire safety. Supervisory experience is essential, as well as strong customer service skills, communication, planning, organisation and administration skills.
Establishing a trusting relationship with departments is key, as you will be the go-to-person for most estate related issues and will be expected to problem solve daily. Having a natural ability to anticipate issues, with an awareness of events that have the potential to disrupt the business will serve you well.
