The Companies competency stems from 50 years of field proven-experience and a strong presence within every major industrial country.Job SummaryWorks in collaboration with Engineering department on the development and try-out of new and innovating technologies. Develop new architectures and technical applications such as Vision Systems/Robot Guidance/Robots/Welding controlled peripheral equipment and other technically applications to install.Responsible for Robots programming ‘in house’ shop floor (in according to regional organization) and in Customer Site.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be reporting to Commissioning & Site ManagerMain areas of responsibilities are:Be involved in Handover phase with Engineering.Focused on Time and Cost ManagementCollaborate to Identify new project risks.Participate in team and project reviews.Technical link on site between customer and engineering including feedback and lessons learned.Configure, start-up and debug Robot Network, I/O and Communication.Weld, Material Handling, Maintenance, Tip Dress.Validation and debug of Safety features (if applicable)Guarantee whole system functionalities respecting cycle-time and product quality.Create documentation compliant with customer commissioning standard.Deliver Customer training, and maintenance instructions.Vision Technology3D Cartesian Coordinate SystemsOffline simulation systemsAutomation concepts, software and robotic applicationsCustomers production processesElectrical drawings and documentationIntegrated technologiesRobot kinematicsRobot programming - ABBSPR TechnologyVision Technology3D Cartesian Coordinate SystemsAssembly processes, new technologies and customer standardsAutomation concepts, software and robotic applicationsCustomers production processesElectrical drawings and documentationIntegrated technologiesC&SM Technical drawings, specifications and schedulesTechnology of metallurgy materials, industrial automation and roboticsReliability AnalysisGeneral-purpose IT toolsRobot programming - FanucRobot programming - KawasakiRobot programming – KukaGeneral-purpose IT toolsInternal processes / proceduresTechnical reports creationProblem solving and decision-making methodology.Proficient in specific customer’s standard (in case of Platform Organization Matrix)Health & Safety Risk managementExperience in welding, sealing, etc.Strong teamwork attitudeAvailable to travel and to assignment abroadInterpersonal soft skill and good relationship with supplier and customerProblem solving & implementation of countermeasures.Engineering degree preferred.Significant customer site working experience.LanguagesEnglish: intermediateSecond language preferred (German, Spanish, French) Salary - 40-55k annum, depending on experience, plus car allowance of £6k per year.The successful candidate will need to be able to travel to the sites and be away from home on occasions.5hrs Per WeekBenefits25 days holidays plus 8 bank holidaysPension - 6% employer / 3% employee contributionsLife Insurance - 4 x salary
