Morson Talent are currently seeking a Human Factors Rail Specialist to join a Major Rail Client on a 6-month contract basis, operating inside IR35 regulations. This role offers the opportunity to work fully remote from home with occasional site visits as necessary. The successful candidate will primarily focus on a variety of small projects, all of which are network rail and UK based. Responsibilities: Conduct signaller workload assessments to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Develop ergonomic integration plans to optimize rail systems and infrastructure. Perform task analysis to identify potential areas for improvement and efficiency gains. Create operational demand evaluation checklists to assess and mitigate risks. Identify workload influencing factors and implement strategies to address them effectively. Requirements: Human Factors qualification is mandatory unless the candidate possesses extensive human factors experience specifically within Network Rail. Several years of experience working in rail human factors for Network Rail, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the industry's specific requirements and regulations. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. Experience in securing CRE (Competent Railway Engineer) accreditation would be advantageous
