Senior Project Manager – Product Innovation

Location - Oxfordshire

Our client is an innovative chemicals company, based in Oxfordshire, and focusses on the research and development of chemicals for improved sustainability.

An opportunity has now become available for an experienced Project Manager/Engineer to join the company and support in the Product Development and Innovation, on a permanent basis.

As a Senior Project Manager, your aims will be to drive operational excellence and provide technical expertise both within the internal teams and customers. Managing development projects from initiation to delivery and offering innovative technical solutions to development challenges.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Contribute to effective project delivery, along with the building & management of customer relationships.
  • Define project parameters, test methods and analysis to offer innovative development solutions.
  • Interact with external providers to capitalise on complementary expertise.

Suitable applicants will ideally have:

  • Prior industry experience delivering projects within an innovative product development environment.
  • Experience within lubricants and engine test methodology or development engineering.
  • Experience with detailed analysis and route cause analysis for mechanistic understanding.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Prior experience as a technical lead and proven experience building client relationships.
  • BEng/BSc in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering
