Everest People Solutions have partnered with one of the UK's top independent food manufacturers to recruit a multi-skilled, Maintenance Manager in an abattoir environment. You will resolve breakdowns and conduct maintenance while driving site improvements. The Maintenance Manager will ensure high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency at all times.

Assess, plan, monitor, and report Engineering and Maintenance Activities for the Engineering Department.
Ensure a robust preventative maintenance system is in place.
Meet Engineering Targets within deadlines, maintaining quality, cost control, and working within agreed budgets.
Manage another Maintenance Engineer.
Work closely with the Site Office Manager to ensure adequate stocks and spares for all equipment and machinery, including requesting PO's when required.
Promote and maintain Health, Safety, and Hygiene standards in accordance with company rules and regulations.

NVQ Level 3 or higher in an electrical/mechanical subject.
Effective communication skills and proficiency in MS Office and PPM systems.
Ability to understand electrical/mechanical drawings.
Reliable, flexible, and able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
Physical fitness for manual tasks and willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends.
Business travel may be required.
