Job Opportunity: Deskside Support Engineer

We're hiring a Deskside Support Engineer with immediate availability for a 6-month contract, with the potential for an extension.

Location:

Knowsley office (2-3 days on-site per week)

Occasional travel to remote offices within 2 hour’s drive

Scope of Duties:

Deskside Software Support (DSS)

Warranty & Non-warranty Break Fix

Install, Move, Add, Change Disposal (IMACD)

Hands and Eyes

Field & On-site Support

Technologies in Scope:

End User Compute, Print & Mobile Devices

Video Conferencing Devices

Other IT devices

Expected Skills:

TCP/IP, routing/switching basics

Windows OS (up to the latest version)

PC imaging with Intune AutoPilot

Active Directory & Azure AD

IT hardware & software problem-solving

Analytical & collaborative mindset

Relevant technical qualifications or experience

Key Responsibilities:

Support IT applications & operations within the global IT department

Troubleshoot, develop, and install various systems

Provide break-fix support and new capability rollouts

Ensure SLA targets are exceeded

Maintain accurate UK asset tracking

Assist in onboarding and off-boarding tasks

Contribute to cross-functional IT projects

Driving license and own car would be a benefit.
