Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:As part of ISS's mission to become the world's greatest service organisation, the Electrical Maintenance Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service performance to fulfill our customers' needs. Operating within client properties, the engineer will provide comprehensive electrical and building services engineering maintenance. This includes fault finding, repairs, routine maintenance, and installation of new systems when necessary. The engineer will ensure that all work is conducted to the highest standards, reflecting ISS's commitment to delivering world-class building services maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform scheduled inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, repairs, adjustments, testing, and troubleshooting of assigned electrical equipment
- Observe electrical systems and fixtures in operation to detect failures or locate causes of malfunctions
- Dismantle devices and remove defective parts
- Inspect used parts and equipment for changes in calibration, dimensional requirements, and manufacturer's specifications
- Test and calibrate systems and equipment to ensure proper system operations
- Lay out work assignments, determine methods, techniques, and materials needed
- Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and Company policies related to building operations and work safety
- Take responsibility for work and actions to show care
- Demonstrate honesty to show respect to colleagues, the client, and work
- Ensure to show entrepreneurship by taking corrective action where necessary
- Deliver a quality service through day-to-day actions
Significant experience in providing electrical building services maintenance including fault finding, maintenance, installation, and inspection/testing. Previous experience in reactive and PPM building services maintenance within commercial properties. Experience working under strict Health & Safety procedures. Training and competence in managing High-Risk Works (Electrical). Ability to explore a situation, assess and offer different options to meet or exceed objectives and expectations.
