As a Mental Health Nurse, you will:
  • Engage with patients and manage risk effectively
  • Promote patient involvement in care and treatment
  • Participate in assessment, planning, and implementation of patient care
  • Attend daily multidisciplinary handover meetings, ward rounds, and CPA meetings
  • Work with a large multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, therapists, and healthcare assistants
The ideal Mental Health Nurse candidate will:
  • Be a RMN or RNLD with a valid NMC pin
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be motivated and passionate
  • Demonstrate skills in engaging with patients and managing risk
  • Be ready to work in a therapeutic environment
