FULFILMENT ASSISTANT - JOB DESCRIPTION

Role: Fulfilment Assistant

Department: Customer Service

Reporting To: Customer Service Representative

Days / Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm

Location: Hoxton, London Studio Based

The primary purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive support Customer Service with quality control checking, inventory management, booking customer orders, picking and packing orders to ensure customers receive orders in an efficient manner.

The Key Responsibilities Are:

Inventory Management:

  • Liaising with the Production Team to check incoming stock from manufacturers
  • Having first hand knowledge and memory of all products, SKU's, sizes, colour variations and overall inventory.
  • Communicating with the production team regarding stock production time frames and estimated delivery dates.
  • Allocating customers incoming stock and deducting from inventory daily.
  • Quality control checking orders received from the production team ensuring all checks are completed as per quality control procedure.
  • Quality control checking returns and exchanges that have arrived and ensuring they're as per our returns and exchanges policy.
  • Updating returns and exchanges spreadsheet and communicating feedback to Customer service and production team.
  • Managing inventory system and ensuring it is updated daily.

Shipping Logistics:

  • Building package boxes / mailer bags and preparing them for customer orders
  • Booking shipments via Fulfilment / Logistics account.
  • Printing shipping labels for customer orders daily.
  • Booking courier collections every day
  • Attaching labels to order packages
  • Assisting customers tracking orders using tracking system
  • Sanity checking all orders have been shipped and delivered via tracking details ensuring delivered safely to the customer.

Order Fulfilment:

  • Updating Shopify with tags on every order to distinguish stage of fulfilment.
  • Checking delivery requests to meet requests by customers and doing everything to meet them
  • Separating ready to ship orders daily from inventory
  • Picking and packing orders
  • Updating orders with tracking details on Shopify

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Fulfilment and logistics experience is a must
  • All candidates are expected to have at least two years' experience in retail fashion and a genuine desire to provide good service levels to the customer.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in an online fashion or retail environment.
  • An understanding and passion for Khanum's and enthusiasm to represent the brand well.
  • Familiar with working in a small focused team/start up environment.
  • Developed digital/tech skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel.
  • Is proficient and experienced using Shopify and DHL / Royal Mail booking system

  • Quick learner and ability to adapt with new platforms / dashboard.
