The Technical Operations team at VIOOH is responsible for the day to day 24x7 operational application management and second-line support of all client and partner facing services, which are developed in-house by our engineering team. Supported by the Service Desk (acting as first-line support) and the SRE team (who maintain the virtualized infrastructure), you will be responsible for all in-life application maintenance and support, from release through to decommissioning. This will include deploying new code and hotfixes, monitoring and reporting, continuous improvement of process and procedure, and service continuity, reliability, performance, resilience, and security.
A financial budget is also provided for any courses, books, etc. Possessing specialist knowledge of SQL databases and cloud-hosted software
Providing technical support, analysing and debugging issues
Work with other internal teams (Account Managers, Product, Development)
Delivering regular and customised training to teams within the business
Keeping stakeholders informed of status and progress through the Service Desk and/or other appropriate channels
Monitor applications/services and react accordingly

Working knowledge of SQL Databases (MySQL preferred), basic networking, and and REST APIs
Working knowledge of Linux
Ability to learn employer-specific software to a high level of proficiency
Working knowledge of AWS Analytics
Experience working with languages such as Java, Clojure, Python is desirable
ITILv4 Foundation certification desirable

Extraordinary customer service and relationship management experience
Excellent analysis, testing and troubleshooting skills
Self-motivated and agile, able to respond to the needs and drive the development of a new business
