We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join our clients Plymouth Team. You will be involved in a range of diverse projects across the Built Environment, including Healthcare, Further Education, Commercial, and Residential sectors. You will work collaboratively with your new colleagues, supporting project delivery while developing your own skills. This role offers you the chance to be involved in open project dialogue, client interaction, site visits, and business matters. You will be working with the latest software packages, including AutoCAD and REVIT. Key responsibilities include: Assisting in the design and development of mechanical building services systems, such as HVAC and plumbing. Conducting calculations and simulations to support design decisions and ensure industry standards compliance. Collaborating with senior engineers on the preparation of technical documentation, drawings, and reports. Participating in site visits to monitor project progress and ensure quality assurance. Qualifications: A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline. Excellent technical skills, including competence in AutoCAD, with some experience in REVIT. Strong communication and IT skills, with the ability to inspire clients and bring creative flair to projects.
