Job Description

Our client is a global sports rights holder delivering world-class events and experiences. They are passionate about providing unforgettable experiences to fans and corporate partners, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality premium ticketing and hospitality services. As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Director to further drive sales efforts and revenue growth in this crucial area of their business. As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for executing an international ticket and hospitality business development strategy with the aim of maximising sales and revenue growth across all channels. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage all ticket and hospitality sales efforts, including identifying new revenue opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets with a focus on outbound B2B sales efforts.
  • Act as the main point of contact for international agency partners
  • Build relationships with host venues to ensure smooth delivery of premium hospitality experiences and work in partnership to further sales efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, sponsors, and high-value customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, events) to ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Provide detailed sales reports and forecasts, identifying key trends and opportunities.

The successful applicant will likely have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience (c. 7+ years) in a ticket and hospitality sales role, ideally within the sports or entertainment industry.
  • A strong track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Experience managing high-profile clients and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with a passion for sports and live events.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce, and the ability to contribute effectively.
  • Proven track record of contributing insights to pricing, marketing, product, and business development strategies.
  • Experience in considering the customer experience in relation to all ticket sales channels and troubleshooting problems to resolution.
