We are currently looking for an Independent Living Officer to support an established team whose joint approach is toprovide an inclusive service for service users in all aspects of Independent Living.

Ideally, you will have some experience and understanding of Self-Directed Support and have current experience ofmanaging a caseload, working one-to-one with individuals.

You will use your communication skills to support our service users.

Ideally, you will have previous experience of working within a similar environment and you should be a quicklearner.

After initial training in the office environment, this post will be a mix of office, home and outreach basedworking.

LCiL are delighted to be recruiting for two Administrators. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to thrive in atruly generalist role with , within a diverse and dynamic organisation. Reporting to our Operations Manager,will contribute to a professional and positive office environment by supporting efficient day-to-day office anddigital organisation. You will also provide administrative support to specific LCiL services.

In this varied and challenging role, you will take responsibility for providing

comprehensive support to the organisation which will include administration, meetings, GDPR management and ensuringthe smooth running of the office, whilst the departments embed a hybrid working model.

With demonstrable experience of working in a similar role, you will have pragmatic and highly organised approach.Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, and you will need great IT skills, including MSExcel and Word. We are currently looking for an Information Officer to join our team. The disability advice and information serviceprovides support to disabled people across Edinburgh and the Lothians on a range of subjects including welfarebenefits, income maximisation, accessibility, housing, and a range of other topics of interest to disabledpeople.

You should enjoy working as part of a small team and have excellent communication skills in order to help our serviceusers. Support includes one-to-one case-work and group-work/workshop delivery.

You should have previous experience of working within a similar environment and be a quick learner.

After initial training in the office environment, this post will be a mix of working from home and our offices inEdinburgh. The post also includes an element of outreach work across the Lothians, in community settings andhome-visits to service users.

We’re looking for an experienced payroll officer who is ready to progress into a managerial role. We are looking forsomeone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, providing day-to-day leadership & guidance to ourpayroll and financial management service teams to ensure accurate, seamless, efficient, and timely execution ofour payrolls in accordance with UK laws, regulations and company policies, and drive processimprovement/standardisation across payroll activity.

Our Payroll Team currently provides a comprehensive, computerised payroll service for an average of 650+ PersonalAssistant Employers who are employing around 1,000+ Personal Assistants per month. The Personal AssistantEmployers figures continue to increase at a steady rate. The number of PAs employed fluctuates monthly.

The Financial Management Service provides financial support of holding bank accounts in service users’ names toensure that they can access SDS care packages. This service means that we ensure all payroll is paid on time andcorrectly, we also support the service user with the management of this account. The number of service users canalso fluctuate however, an average of around 150-200 service user’s access this service per month.

After initial training in the office environment, this post will be a mix of office, home and outreach based working.The post is part of a project in partnership with VOCAL (Voice of Carers Across Lothian) and will includeregular meetings and close work alongside VOCAL colleagues.
