Home Based- Preferably Northern England M62 corridor

Responsible for the day to day management of several key accounts supplying the UK forestry market. Developing strong business relationships with forestry product end users, stakeholders and key accounts (distributors) to support sales growth whilst ensuring revenue and profitability targets are achieved.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Field sales position within the commercial team selling a range of tree protection products generally into the UK forestry and landscape markets.
  • Builds strong business relationships with forestry product end users, stakeholders and key accounts (distributors) understanding their businesses needs and uses that information to develop strategies for growth and improved profitability.
  • Monitors customer spend/sales ensuring accounts meet or exceed budget in terms of revenue, volume and profitability.
  • Contributes towards the execution of strategic business and key account plans.
  • Develops in depth knowledge of the products and application/uses which support budget achievement and business segment strategy.
  • Identify, record and track sales opportunities using business CRM system.
  • Supports the BDM for forestry segment with tasks such as calculation of prices, handling offers, forecasting and quality complaint management.
  • Works within a cross functional team including customer care, production, supply chain and finance to ensure business targets are met.
  • Uses and gathers market and competition data in order to identify opportunities for increased market share.
  • Suggests and initiates product developments based on customer needs and market surveys.
  • Takes ownership of the relationship between customers and all departments within production site.

Must hold a valid UK driving license Driving is essential for the role (30%).
