Our client, Cloud Storage Security, is excited to announce they've opened up a new role as a Business Development Representative (BDR). The BDR will play a crucial role in the growth and success of our company by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with new clients and partners, and driving revenue growth. This role will also be responsible for certain operational tasks like CRM hygiene, deal registrations to our partners, etc.
As a BDR for CSS, you will have the opportunity to close some small deals and the potential to move into an Account Executive role and realize the rewards of an enterprise sales professional. Founded in 2020, Cloud Storage Security (CSS) is dedicated to solving the data security and compliance challenges surrounding cloud object storage. Organizations of all sizes turn to CSS to prevent the spread of malware, classify sensitive data, and assess their AWS storage environment. Our solutions are used worldwide because they fit into any workflow without disruption and data never leaves the customer’s account.
The right person for this position demonstrates a strong aptitude for thinking strategically, is data-driven, always shows initiative, takes ownership and accountability, possesses the ability to write/craft impactful emails, and can negotiate, influence, inspire, and motivate. This is a full-time position working remotely.
Prospect and qualify potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and social media platforms.
Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted outreach strategies and campaigns.
Utilize CRM software to track leads, maintain accurate records, and manage sales pipelines.
Provide regular feedback to the marketing and product development teams based on prospect insights and market trends.
3+ years proven track record of success in a sales or business development role, preferably in a B2B environment.
~ Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and proficiency with Google Workspace tools.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
Prior experience in the technology/software industry
AWS accreditations and/or certifications

50,000 + variable compensation and commissions. Our compensation structure is designed to be competitive with industry standards and reflective of the candidate's qualifications and the responsibilities of the role. 3+ years proven track record of success in a sales or business development role, preferably in a B2B environment.
