Business Support Coordinator

Our client is a market leading Construction company based in Cheshire.
For this Accounts & Business Support Manager position, you will assist in the financial process and be responsible for the accounts department. 50% finance and 50% business support.
Although there are no direct reports, rather a dotted line into working with the survey team and Directors. Your will ensure the company is compliant with ISO and construction certifications. Offering a Business Support function to the Management team.
Accounting and Financial Reporting
* Sales and purchase invoicing with regular bank reconciliation
* Sub-contractor organisation and payment review
* Negotiate and manage annual contract renewal terms
* Payroll processing incl. Year-end audit compiling reports and information for external accountants and the management team
* Complete weekly sales and supplier payment reports, cash-flow spreadsheets, management accounts (P&L), monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and sales forecast reports
* Compile any other weekly and monthly reports to senior management.
* Business support to keep the office functioning (ensure events in the diary take place (car MOTs, road tax etc), purchasing stationery, stamps, premises expenses
* Keep company policy & risk assessment documentation up-to-date and in same format
* Oversee the purchase of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and company gifts for clients.
The successful Accounts & Business Support Manager will be/have:
* Knowledge of bookkeeping
* Knowledge of Xero would be nice
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is important
* Ability to productively work alone.
* Discretion with financial/sensitive information.
