This would be based at the Barnsley operation, a leading brand that focuses on the retail wholesale of tattoo and piercing. However, you will also be overseeing Pet and Beauty products turning over approximately £65m in 2023 – with hypergrowth plans over the next 3 years.
Reporting into the Group Operations Director, this role would be sitting in the group to spearhead and streamline their procurement functions dealing with international suppliers and other Nexus Brands across the globe, including US, UK&I and Belgium. You will also be responsible for the development and management of an effective procurement team.
As Head of Group Purchasing, your responsibilities would include :
Build, manage and maintain relationships across Nexus Brands Group, internal stakeholders, internal departments, and external suppliers.
Oversee all essential procurement for the business and work closely with other departments overseas.
Effectively produce statistical reports on KPIs and perform analysis on departments, reporting findings back the rest of the board at meetings.
Undertake evaluations and make recommendations on commercial sourcing opportunities. This includes – Price Change/Analysis, Supply Risk, Supply Shortage and more.
Commercial mindset and deep understanding of supply chain and procurement.
Knowledge of Inventory Management Systems and Implementation.
Experience of implementing inventory management systems. Hybrid working
