The Opportunity:The Waste Resource Management Team is diverse and located across several of our UK offices. We are now looking to expand further with a presence in Scotland and specifically our Glasgow office. This is a great opportunity for a strong work winner and manager to grow and develop a team and service in the region, with the support of the existing Waste Management team and other disciplines in Glasgow. We are therefore looking for someone with a degree in a relevant discipline and at least 8 years' experience working in the sector (Principal, Associate or Technical Director level), who is looking for their next career step.
The workload may include managing and delivering support at all stages in the lifecycle of all types of waste management facilities, including:
- Strategy development
- Feasibility studies
- Options appraisals
- Bid support
- Contractor procurement
- Technology due diligence
- Facility design
- Planning
- Environmental permitting and compliance support
Our clients include local authorities, private sector operators, regulators and waste management contractors, for whom we provide support in the development of waste strategies and the delivery of waste and recycling infrastructure, acting as technical advisor, providing bid support, applying for environmental permits and monitoring compliance.
