Senior Buyer – Technology & Consumer Electronics London (Hybrid working available)
£I'm seeking a talented Senior Buyer to join a well-established and highly reputable retailer within their retail function. The ideal candidate will have experience buying Technology and/or Consumer Electronics and will be able to bring with them an established supplier network within this space
Tech is an evolving category for the retailer, with a lot of scope for expansion. This would be an exciting opportunity for a driven and ambitious Buyer to drive category growth and make a significant impact on sales.

As the Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the range strategy to maximise the budgeted financial business targets ensuring the right products are purchased at the correct prices and within the relevant time frames. Responsible for maximising the delivery of the Sales / Margin & Stock turn of your category range to deliver a market beating product and seasonal proposition.
Building & maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
Responsible for buying both Own Brand and Branded ranges.
Monitoring & reviewing competitor information to ensure your product area stays relevant in a changing market.
Marketing, eCommerce & Retail outlets to plan successful future lines.
Proven previous experience as a Senior Buyer / Trader, General Merchandise is essential / electricals / SDA / TECH sector is preferred
Able to adapt swiftly in a fast paced, ever changing seasonal retail market.
Strong IT skills including MS Office.
