City of London Greater London, United Kingdom Avencia Talent Solutions Full time

Recruitment Business Partner London | 12 -Month FTC | Full-Time | Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days remote) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment Business Partner (RBP) to join Avencia’s on-site team, supporting one of our key clients, a fast-growing, innovative Insurance organisation based in Central London. In this role, you’ll partner closely with senior stakeholders across multiple business areas, managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle and driving talent acquisition excellence across functions including Actuarial, IT, Compliance, Operations, and PMO. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic, high-performance environment and enjoys building strong relationships while delivering outstanding results. About the Role As a Recruitment Business Partner, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to the business, curating sourcing strategies, identifying opportunities to attract top talent directly, and ensuring an exceptional experience for both candidates and hiring managers. You’ll be supported by an experienced and collaborative Client Services team who are passionate about quality, innovation, and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on role where you’ll have oversight of approximately six key business areas, managing around 25 live vacancies at any one time, with visibility across all levels up to ExCo/C-Suite. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end recruitment processes across multiple disciplines, from initial briefing through to offer and onboarding. Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs, define role requirements, and design effective sourcing strategies. Utilise LinkedIn, job boards, talent pools, and the ATS to identify and engage top talent. Build and maintain relationships with PSL agencies, identifying when to source directly versus when third-party support is required. Attend stakeholder meetings and talent planning sessions, providing insights and data-driven recommendations. Ensure all recruitment activity is accurately tracked within the ATS and CRM systems for robust reporting and MI analysis. Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve the overall recruitment experience. Represent Avencia and the client brand professionally and consistently across all touchpoints. What You’ll Bring Proven experience in an internal or on-site Recruitment Partner role, ideally within professional services or financial sectors. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage at all levels up to senior leadership. Experience managing multiple roles across diverse functions, ideally within insurance or a similarly regulated environment. Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and LinkedIn Recruiter, with a focus on direct sourcing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build rapport quickly and influence effectively. Organised and proactive, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced setting. A commercial mindset with a customer-centric approach to problem-solving and delivery. Desirable Skills & Knowledge Previous experience recruiting across Actuarial, IT, or Compliance disciplines. Understanding of recruitment data, MI reporting, and process optimisation. Familiarity with tools such as Workday, SmartRecruiters, or similar ATS platforms. Why Join Us You’ll be part of a close-knit, high-performing Client Services team with over 25 years of collective recruitment experience. You’ll work directly with a forward-thinking client known for its ambitious growth and collaborative culture, all within a state-of-the-art Central London office (dog-friendly, with daily breakfast, snacks, and a bar on-site). At Avencia, we’re passionate about people, partnership, and progress. We believe great results come from great relationships, and we’re committed to creating an inclusive, supportive environment where everyone can thrive.
