e-Quality Learning provides training on Assistive Technology hardware and software to help individuals of all ages manage disabilities such as Specific Learning Difficulties (for example, dyslexia), mental health difficulties, visual impairments, and more.​.

The role of an Assistive Technology Trainer is to provide training in assistive technology (software and hardware) in both education and the workplace. This role will involve both remote and onsite training.

Provide familiarisation in order to build a basic level of confidence for the learner in the usage of their equipment, software, and accessories.
Provide training on a range of assistive software packages, typically voice dictation, literacy support, mind mapping and recording/notetaking solutions.
Training for students is usually recommended in block sessions, generally in 1, 2- or 3-hour formats.
Attend any relevant training or meetings and have the ability to develop existing skills.

To be flexible with providing availability between 8am-7pm Monday to Friday and weekend hours as requested. A good standard of general IT skills and a passion for technology.
Be able to travel up to 1.5 hours from your location for training sessions either on public transport or via access to your own vehicle.
You will develop the confidence to train learners with a range of disabilities independently, tailoring your training to their individual learning styles.
Flexible working hours - you choose your own hours.
Working for the UK's leading AT Training provider.
Previous experience in training or teaching roles is preferable but not essential as training will be provided. As part of your development, you will take part in eQL’ s Train the Trainer programme and complete accredited training days for specific software.
