Experienced Cover Supervisor

Vision for Education are a Welsh Government Approved Agency in Wales

Are you a teaching assistant looking for your next step in education? We have had an exciting opportunity become available to work within a secondary school in the Cardiff area as a cover supervisor.

You will be responsible for supporting secondary aged pupils and covering the class while the class teacher is away.

Maintaining classroom discipline in line with the school discipline policy
Building rapport between yourself and pupils
Supporting pupils as they undertake work in line with the national curriculum priorities
Promoting the school ethos and adhering to all school policies and procedures
Working closely with all school colleagues and under direction of the school leadership team.
Have experience of working in a Secondary School setting
Be registered (or willing to register) with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
Be a passionate practitioner with the desire to improve the education outcomes for all pupils
Be able to support and promote the ethos of the school
Excellent rate of pay - minimum of £100 - £110 per day
