Internal - Business Support Assistant Level 4 X2

An exciting opportunity has presented itself within the Business Support Service for an enthusiastic and confident individual who will rise to the challenges this fast paced service presents.
Principal accountabilities for this role include:
- Assisting the team supervisor with the allocation of work to the other business support staff within the team.
- Diarising various complex meetings appropriately.
- Arranging and attending relevant meetings via TEAMs and FacetoFace to take accurate notes/ detailed minutes, as set out in the service specification.
- Production and collation of agenda items for relevant meetings, including chasing progress from contributing officers and distributing the relevant paperwork to attendees, such as internal Officers, external professionals and elected Members.
- Distribution of actions/ minutes to attendees and other relevant officers/ external professionals in a timely manner.
- Formatting selfservice documents i.e. presentations and reports.
- Dealing with varied service requests and queries from senior management, elected members and external organisations and redirecting them, if necessary, in a timely manner.
- Typing routine documents and correspondence.
- To provide cover for the Senior Business Support Officer and Business Support Officer posts in order to provide continuity.
Experience of working in a business support environment and dealing with a wide variety of requests and issues together with a rounded knowledge of Council services will be of great advantage in this role.
